A public consultation begins today on how the Personal Injuries Assessment Board could be reformed.
The Government says it could be a step towards reducing car insurance premiums.
Earlier this month new guidelines were approved by Cabinet which gives a rough level of damages for injuries - which was backed by a majority of judges.
