Government Rolls Back On Increasing Pension Age

The pension age won't be raised to 67 in January.

The government's to repeal legislation for two automatic increases in a social welfare bill to be tabled next week.
However Minister for Social Protection Heather Humphreys says the pension age commission will continue its work.
She told the Dáil last night the question of how to fund the pensions of the future hasn't gone away.
