Dublin Businesses Express Concern Over City Centre Pedestrianisation Plans

Businesses in Dublin city centre have expressed concerns with the partial pedestrian plans to be trialled this summer.

From May the 24th parts of St Anne's Street, South William Street, Drury Street and Dame Court will close on a trial basis, to encourage outdoor diners to return to the city.

Dublin Town, which represents 2,500 businesses, say partial pedestrianisation is "confusing" for customers and businesses and have called for unlimited pedestrianisation on the chosen streets.
